Chromebooks are a line of laptops that run Google’s Chrome OS. They are designed to be lightweight and affordable, making them popular for students and casual users. This chromebook was forced on me by the school, and I used it for a few years before switching to my Thinkpad which I enjoyed much more.
Now that restrictions are off I wiped and installed Linux on it, and it’s been a great secondary machine for browsing and light work.
It’s not the most powerful machine, but it gets the job done for basic tasks.
